Student Banking

Student Banking

Can my child bank money through the school?

With the assistance of a volunteer parent, the school conducts a Student Banking Program through the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. Student Banking day is Tuesday of each week and children should hand their books, with correctly completed paying slip, into the class teacher before the commencement of classes on that day. Books are returned via the classroom after processing.

This Banking Program not only provides the children with easy access to a savings program, but also benefits the school. The school receives payment from the Bank for each new account opened and a commission on all money deposited through the accounts each week.

A kit to open an account is distributed to our new Prep children at the beginning of each year. Children in other year levels who wish to open an account can do so by collecting a kit from the school office. Parents and children of other year levels are notified of the availability of these kits through a notice in our weekly newsletter.
